This work is considered the first systematic study of Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar's methodology in interpreting the different Hadith and its impact on Hadith criticism. It is an inductive, analytical, and critical study of Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar's methodology, through Fath al-Bari and other works, concerning the phenomenon of Hadith discrepancy.
