To Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi, a scientific and interpretive encyclopedia concerned with interpreting the Book of Allah Almighty according to a methodology in which its author combines the science of interpretation with many other sciences, foremost among them: kalam (dialectical theology), in addition to linguistic sciences.

The author's methodology in this exquisite book is characterized by originality and novelty in addressing the issues he encountered during his interpretation of the Book of Allah. The author also explored the secrets of the Holy Quran, managing to uncover some of its treasures and unveil some of its lights. This is not surprising, as its author, may Allah have mercy on him, was unique in his era, the theologian of his time, and the shaykh of his age in interpretation, kalam, rational sciences, and linguistic sciences.
