Legislation is part of the creed and a consequence of it, so it cannot be separated from a creed from which it originates and on which it builds its rulings. It must either stem from the creed of Islam or stem from a creed that contradicts the creed of Islam. This message came on the topic of man-made legislation in light of the Islamic creed in an attempt to root the topic doctrinally and clarify the great reality of legislation. The author began by discussing the connection of legislation to the creed, then talked about what is meant by legislation in the Arabic language and the use of revelation, then discussed the connection of legislation to monotheism, then the reality of the human soul and the purposes of divine legislation, then he researched the history of man-made legislation, its philosophy, and its foundations, then he moved on to talk about the ruling on man-made legislation, so he explained the reality of faith according to Ahlus Sunnah and the connection of legislation to it, then he explained the implications of the rules of Ahlus Sunnah regarding man-made legislation, then he explained the ruling on following and obeying man-made legislation, and with that he concluded the book.
